Marcus Porsch

Site Carpentry Apprentice Level 2

Before his Apprenticeship with ACE Training, Marcus was working in a pub as a kitchen porter, but he really wanted a trade career and was advised by his school to apply to ACE Training.

Marcus works for his trade employer 4 days a week and attends ACE Training for one day, when he works towards his Level 2 diploma. The course will take him around 18 months to complete and he learns the skills of his trade in the workshops as well as developing his techniques on site.

His focus is on getting the theory right whilst training at ACE so that he can apply it at work and “do things the right way”.

I hope to carry on with carpentry and carry on learning.
