James Washington

Site Carpentry Apprentice Level 2

James came straight to the training centre from school. He completed his Level 1 Diploma in Site Carpentry with flying colours and moved onto his Apprenticeship once he’d settled with an employer. James wanted to learn the skills of his trade whilst also working on site and seeing the theory in action – an Apprenticeship was the perfect balance of training whilst working. In the future James hopes to support himself financially through his carpentry skills and sees his Apprenticeship as the beginning of a long career in Site Carpentry.

My Apprenticeship is the first step towards my career. The training I do for my Apprenticeship will set the standard for how hard I will work and the quality of my work for the rest of my career. My training benefits my employer financially and I have been trained in relevant skills so that I’m already up to speed when he needs me.
