We’re starting to get prepared for our second Apprentice Hiring Fair for construction firms who are looking to meet potential Apprentices.
The Hiring Fair is run over 3 days, and employers can come in and see students in a training environment and have the opportunity to speak to them about their work, and also to out tutors about how Apprenticeship training works. We can also help employers understand how funding works, who pays for what, and how they can access grants to help cover costs.
We did this back in October and it went really well with an number of employers coming in to see us and our students, which resulted in work experience placements, Apprenticeship recruitment and word-of-mouth referrals to other firms.
