Apprenticeships are changing over the coming years and construction firms potentially could be affected more than other industries because of the potential impact on the existing Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) levy and grant system.
While much of the detail is unclear or unconfirmed at this point, we know that it’s important for businesses to get up to speed with what lies ahead, so they can be prepared and continue to get the best out of the Apprenticeship scheme.
As part of our April Apprentice Hiring Fair on 20-22 April, we’re running a free ‘Funding Surgery’ on Friday 22nd for construction employers on a 1-2-1 basis, so we can help them understand how changes could affect them individually.
The Surgery is open to all construction employers even if they don’t currently employ Apprentices or use us to train their employees.
