‘Desperate need’ for Apprentices is reason for UK Construction Skills shortage

This really interesting article from the Federation of Master Builders states the construction industry needs around 35,000 new Apprentices just to cope with current demand…yet only around 7,000 Apprentices completed their training in 2013. Result is small businesses are turning down work as a result.

So we keep saying it, but there is huge potential for anyone entering trade training right now.
